Jim and Kim Garrison

James M. Garrison, age 45, of Glen Allen, died October 8, 2001 in an accident while on a dive trip to Belize. Jim and his wife, Kim were the owners of James Limousine and were active in the Richmond Dive Club and several charitable organizations in Richmond. Survivors include two sons, Brandon Anderson and Steven Anderson; his parents, Russell and Eleanor Garrison of Colonial Heights; two sisters, Julie Cervilla and her son, Jake Cervilla of Glen Allen, and Janet Newcomb and her husband, Glenn Newcomb and their two children, Jennifer Newcomb and Rusty Kelley of Mechanicsville.

Kimberly Ann Carpenter Garrison, age 41, died while aboard the Wave Dancer on October 8, 2001 in hurricane Iris off the coast of Belize. Survivors include two sons, Brandon Marshall Anderson and Steven Kyle Anderson; her mother and stepfather, Elaine and Mel Rideout; her father, Vernon Carpenter Sr., all of Richmond; a brother and sister-in-law, Chip and Linda Carpenter of Bumpass; a sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Scott Nicholas of Richmond; and a sister, Pat Rideout of Suffolk.
